Aston University Engineering Academy is a specialist secondary school based in Birmingham, alongside Aston University. As a University Technical College, their goal is developing young people equipped with knowledge and skills for STEM careers. Their FTC team, Bostin Dynamics, aims to build a collaborative network across the West Midlands. They provide training, manufacturing facilities, and drive expanding access and passion for STEM education locally.
Our ambition for the hub is to support and elevate FIRST Tech Challenge locally in the West Midlands region. The drive is to empower young people with the opportunities to develop skills in an environment that fosters a passion for STEM education . The hub is to be seen as a communal space where collaboration and innovation can inspire the next generation of innovators.
The bedrock of FIRST Tech Challenge. These experienced schools act as outreach partners, provide support to teams, serve as training and event venues – helping us maximise our impact regionally.
